Joel Christiansen

Joel Christiansen started creating games sometime in the 1980s, and has never really considered stopping. Since 2004 he has worked as an artist/designer with various small to mid-size studios on a number of turn-based strategy, racing, and action-adventure games. His skill set includes concept art, 3D modeling, texturing and animation in addition to game design, and he has also developed and taught several college courses in game art and design. Joel established Dog Theory in 2009, and released his first solo independent game (Disastr_Blastr Xbox 360 Edition) in February 2015. He holds a BA in Film Studies from the University of Nebraska, and is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Texas.
