3D Art for AAA Games and Film

My name is David Saiz and I'm a professional 3D Artist and the CoFounder of Paloma Studios. You can check my portfolio at www.pixelsinthemaking.com. I have been in the games industry for a decade and I've had the opportunity to work on big companies and big titles. I am now in a unique position where I can give back and help out fellow artists that want to enter the games industry and help them achieve their dream of working making games for a living.

This Mentorship is my way to give back. I want to share what I have learned and the skills and knowledge I have acquired through the years by working on projects for companies like EA, Blizzard, Sony, Rhythm and Hues, Alliance Studio, etc.

I want to help others learn new skills, develop a mindset and acquire knowledge that will help them become a better artist and improve their portfolio and/or reel.

This program is focused on individuals who are serious about getting into the games industry and are willing to work hard, be able to receive critique and put in the time to get better.

We'll find out what you want to do. There are so many roles in the industry and each of those is a way in. We'll find yours.

I want you to take it seriously. I won't be constantly holding your hand. The more work you put into this mentorship, the more you will get out of it. It's on you.

In the end, I promise you if you work hard you will learn new skills, know more about the industry and what it is to make a career out of it and your portfolio will show it.

This process does not guarantee you a job in the industry. It will help you improve your abilities, your portfolio, you will know more about the industry, it will teach you how to better evaluate your work and how to troubleshoot and how to make your work stand out.
